We are incorrect when we say we don't have enough time. We have exactly the same number of hours per day as every person we’ve ever marveled at; Jasper Johns, Leonard Cohen, Alex Honnold, Jane Goodall, Norman Mailer, Malcolm Gladwell and even Anthony Bourdain.
I admired quite a few things about Tony, but one of the things that inspired me most was that he realistically got a late start. He was in his mid-40s by the time he got on TV. He was the age I am now before I had ever even met him. He made himself schedules and to-do lists and he accomplished so much in the last decade. All of us who aspire to accomplish things, should be inspired by his productivity. In my opinion the key take-away is that it is honestly never too late to pursue your dreams. Let’s get to work.

So many candidates…
Never before have so many people been convinced that they are not only qualified but also capable of becoming President of the United States. This is an image I made a few years ago at a CNN Republican Debate. Tonight on MSNBC is part two of the largest collection of candidates in history trying to be recognized as the right choice for the Democrats. I support the idea of multi-party politics. I’m excited for more ideas to get on the table, but in this moment It feels like every election these numbers will swell until it is just unmanageable.
Popular Mechanics sent me to Colorado to photograph the "other" Musk.
I traveled to Colorado to photograph Kimble Musk, the fellow wealthy genius and older brother of Elon Musk. He is obsessed with food and the possibilities of making good and delicious food affordable and accessible. He is surprisingly down to earth and approachable and he is constantly thinking of ways to make more and better food in an affordable way. I love everything the Elon Musk is attempting, but if you asked, well Kimble is my favorite Musk.

I traveled thousands of miles to far-off places like Vietnam, Tanzania, and Russia, as well as to places not so far away like South Carolina, Montana, and all over New York City. Along the way I learned to be a better traveler and, hand in hand with that, a better person. I’m thankful for the experience. It’s hard to imagine that I’ll ever have a better job…
I haven’t spoken much publicly about my travels with Tony. I’m still processing a lot of it. Being part of the Parts Unknown family has been a gift to me. It has been remarkable. Transformative even.
